Wayne Curtis with Cosmo
Cosmo is a very sweet, masculine boy with beautifully clean movement and a very handsome head. I am very glad that Terry, Dave and Kristen had troubles trying to place this wonderful boy and finally talked mom into allowing me to co-own him! He has been a fun dog to show, never a dull moment with this boy. His sense of humor is not to be missed, he is a true Siberian. Cosmo has lovely dark pigment which he has passed onto his offspring. He produces most colors and patterns including piebalds!
Cosmo spent the fall of 2006 through late spring of 2007 up in Alaska running with Team Stormwatch. Cosmo is well on his way toward his Sled Dog title with all of his required miles and 2 races under his belt! I would like to thank Wayne Curtis for putting the training and race miles on Cosmo (3000+ (not a typo!)) and Wayne's wife Chris for showing Cosmo to his Group 4! The picture above shows Wanye and Cosmo running in the Goose Bay 120 Feb 07 in SDX time. I would like to thank Jlona & Phil Richey, Authentic Alaskan Images, for the lovely photos! Cosmo is the more open faced grey dog just in front of the wheel dogs. On the team with Cosmo is his nephew BISS Ch Charlyn's Crime Scene Investigator SDX!
Winter 2010 saw Cosmo in harness again with Driver Willie Stephens! Cosmo, Billy and Jasmine helped Will take 1st place in the pure bred class of the 3-dog sprints at the Foresthill Sled Dog Races March 13-14, 2010!
In 2007 Cosmo had an "oops" breeding with his daughter Libby that produced 4 puppies (3 girls and a boy). They were NOT in my care during this time (I have heard rumors to the contrary on this!)! This was a Charlyn breeding, not mine. Communication has died since then and access to both Cosmo and Libby has been denied to me.
